Heritage tennis standout Erin Crane is the Bay Area News Group’s girls high school athlete of the week for Nov. 8-14 after receiving 24,602 votes (33.56%) by the deadline at 5 p.m. Wednesday.

Pioneer cross country runner Bella Peretti (25.75%) finished second and Branham volleyball player Sydney Mego (22.44%) took third.

Congratulations to all the candidates for this week’s recognition.

Crane, a senior, won her third Bay Valley Athletic League singles championship and was named league MVP for the third time. She also helped Heritage capture its first North Coast Section team tennis match in a 6-1 victory over Clayton Valley Charter.
