WIDE RECEIVERS
First team
Jake Calcagno, California, 6-0, 160, senior
All-East Bay Athletic League Mountain Division first-team selection. Led the North Coast Section with 91 catches for 1,456 yards and 20 TDs. In a 24-21 semifinal loss to Clayton Valley in the NCS Division I playoffs, he caught nine passes for 142 yards and a TD.
Jurrion Dickey, Valley Christian, 6-2, 210, junior
The receiver of the year in the West Catholic Athletic League. Led the CCS among stats reported to MaxPreps with 78 receptions for 1,304 yards and 19 TDs, breaking school receiving records in the process. Also intercepted four passes, returning one for a TD, and three TDs on kick returns. “Wish he was a senior,” one league coach said. “Impressed with him on defense as well.”
Jalen Moss, Menlo-Atherton, 6-1, 165, senior
Peninsula Athletic League Bay Division first-team receiver and special teams player of the year. Signed with Fresno State. Finished with 58 receptions for 1,127 yards and 15 TDs as M-A won the Bay title and reached the semifinals of the CCS Division I playoffs. Intercepted six passes, two of which he returned for TDs, and recovered a fumble. Had 1,709 all-purpose yards.
Second team
Michael Dansby, McClymonds, 6-0, 175, senior
First-team all-Oakland Athletic League selection. Two-way player helped lead McClymonds to the Division 3-A state championship. Scored on a 79-yard catch-and-run in the CIF state title game against Birmingham. In the Oakland Section semifinals, he caught five passes for 116 yards and also took a 47-yard interception to the house.
Robbie Mascheroni, Campolindo, 6-3, 185, junior
Caught 63 passes for 1,229 yards and 13 touchdowns while helping Campolindo bounce back from a rough start to win the North Coast Section Division II championship. “Was very difficult for us to handle in NCS playoffs,” one coach said. “Had 2 deep balls for scores, as well as big first down catches.”
Rashid Williams, Pittsburg, 6-2, 185, junior
Four-star prospect with a dozen offers, according to 247Sports. Part of a talented Pittsburg receiving corps, he finished with a team-leading 52 receptions for 706 yards and nine TDs. Unanimous first-team selection in the Bay Valley Athletic League. Caught seven passes for 112 yards and two TDs to lead Pittsburg past Clayton Valley in the NCS Division I final.
TIGHT ENDS
First team
Jack Endries, Monte Vista, 6-4, 227, senior
East Bay Athletic League Mountain Division first-team tight end. Caught 49 passes for 579 yards and nine TDs. Three-star prospect with 16 offers, according to 247Sports. Helped Monte Vista reach the NCS Division I playoffs.
Second team
Dillon Golden, St. Francis, 6-4, 235, senior
West Catholic Athletic League’s tight end of the year. Three-year starter and a three-star prospect with eight offers, according to 247Sports. Helped open holes in the running game for the WCAL champs and caught 10 passes for 146 yards and two TDs, including one in a CCS Division I semifinal victory over Menlo-Atherton.
