Drops of blood were discovered early Wednesday at the crash site on Angeles Crest Highway near Altadena, California Highway Patrol Sgt. Adam Bender said.

The Los Angeles Times reports video from the scene shows the overturned Lamborghini with its lights still on and debris scattered around.

The CHP is looking for the person who abandoned the luxury sports car, which has Oregon license plates. It wasn’t immediately clear whether the driver and the vehicle’s owner are the same person.

Nearby hospitals were contacted, but the driver wasn’t found. There are no surveillance cameras in the area, Bender told the Times.

The Angeles Crest Highway (Highway 2) crosses the San Gabriel Mountains, running between Los Angeles County’s San Gabriel Valley and the high desert near Victorville.
