Roger Waters has postponed the highly anticipated This Is Not a Drill North American tour to 2021.
The move was made “due to the ongoing global coronavirus pandemic,” according to a news release.
“The bad news is: I’ve had to postpone my tour until next year,” Waters says. “Bummer, but if it saves one life, it’s worth it.”
The news impacts three venues in California — Staples Center in Los Angeles, Golden 1 Center in Sacramento and Chase Center in San Francisco. Waters was originally scheduled to perform Sept. 10-11 at Staples, Sept. 23 at Golden 1 Center and Sept. 25-26 at Chase Center.
Those with tickets “are advised to hold onto their original tickets and await further information,” according to Waters’ website.
