Dead and Company, the popular Grateful Dead offshoot, is spending New Year’s Eve in San Francisco.
The jam band, featuring Mickey Hart, Bill Kreutzmann, John Mayer, and Bob Weir, with Oteil Burbridge and Jeff Chimenti, will perform two big hometown shows on Dec. 30 and 31 at the Golden State Warriors’ new Chase Center.
It’s part of the band’s “Fun Run 2019” concerts on the West Coast. The other dates are Dec. 27-28 at the the “Fabulous” Forum in Inglewood.
Tickets go on sale to the general public at 10 a.m. Oct. 4, ticketmaster.com.
And the band is using Ticketmaster’s Verified Fan program for these shows:
“To ensure fans get tickets in their hands directly, Fan Registration is now available here until Sunday, September 29th, at 7PM through Ticketmaster’s Verified Fan program; supplies are limited,” according to the news release.
There is a presale for American Express Card holders, running from noon Oct. 1 through 10 p.m. Oct. 3.
