Over the weekend we got fresh glimpses of Klay Thompson, known as “the quiet Splash brother.” Many happened on the occasion of his jersey retirement at his alma mater, Washington State University. Some of what we learned came as a complete surprise; others … not so much.

Check out these five fun facts.

5. Klay likes to dance. It was tough for him to stay in his seat during the Washington State-Oregon State game.

4. The bromance between Klay, Zaza Pachulia and Steph Curry is real. Check out Zaza grooming Klay before his big moment.

3. He is in a sweet relationship. Klay went public with his romance with actress Laura Harrier in the fall, and it looks like things are still going strong.

2. Klay is a huge Bay Area sports fan. We’ve seen him through the years in the stands at Oakland A’s and San Francisco Giants games. Of course it makes sense that he’d show up at the NFC Championship game in 49ers gear.

1. He still owns a flip phone.
