It’s a huge week for live music in the Bay Area, highlighted by three shows by Drake. Here are some top picks for the San Francisco, San Jose and Oakland areas:

Drake

The phenomenally popular hip-hop artist comes to the Bay Area to perform three shows — Oct. 26, 27 and 29 — at the Oracle Arena in Oakland.

Drake’s touring in support of his fifth studio album, “Scorpion,” which was released in June and debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200. That’s no surprise, all five of Drake’s albums have topped the charts.

It will be interesting to see if Drake once again honors the Oracle home team and dons a Golden State Warriors jersey, like he did when he performed at the venue in 2016. And will he go with a Kevin Durant jersey again? Or perhaps a Stephen Curry number instead?

Migos, the Atlanta hip-hop trio known for such multi-platinum hits as “Bad and Boujee,” “T-Shirt,” “Motorsport” and “Stir Fry,” open all three shows.

For King & Country

The Grammy-winning brother act, consisting of Joel and Luke Smallbone, is on the road in support of the newly released “Burn the Ships.” The melodic pop/rock band, which has been compared to Coldplay and reportedly draws inspiration from the likes of U2 and Switchfoot, performs Oct. 25 at the Warfield in San Francisco. Sucre and DK the Drummer are also on the bill.

Rhett performs Oct. 27 at Golden 1 Center in Sacramento. Brett Young and Midland open the show.

Simple Minds
