Golden State Warriors and Toronto Raptors fans gathered outside before Game 6 of the NBA Finals at Oracle Arena in Oakland, Calif., on Thursday, June 13, 2019. It’s the Warriors last game at the arena before their move to the new Chase Center in San Francisco. Fans at Oracle will receive a rally towel with a special message:
Down 3-2 in the series after Monday’s gut-wrenching Game 5 victory in Toronto, the Warriors will need to summon the strength to get past the Raptors without Kevin Durant, who was lost for the series and likely for an entire year when he ruptured his Achilles tendon in Toronto. Kevon Looney, who has been nursing an ongoing injury to his rib and chest area, will play.
Toronto has won all three of its games at Oracle this season, including a pair of impressive victories in Games 2 and 3 of this Finals. The Raptors are the 35th team in NBA history to take a 3-1 series lead in the Finals and only once did a team blow a 3-1 lead (cough, the Warriors in 2016 against the Cavaliers).
