The Warriors were humbled by the Rockets in Game 2 on Wednesday, falling 127-105 in Houston to even the best-of-7 series at 1-1. Houston got 27 points off the bench from Eric Gordon, who hit six 3-pointers and tied James Harden for team-high point honors.
Golden State has won 15 straight games at Oracle, tying the Chicago Bulls from 1990-91 for the most consecutive postseason victories at home.
The Rockets were able to attack the Warriors’ defense much easier than in Game 1 as Stephen Curry was a frequent Houston target in pick-and-rolls again. Curry has struggled over the first two games offensively, averaging just 17.0 points per game while making just two of his 13 3-point attempts.
Game 4 of the series is Tuesday at 6 p.m. at Oracle.
