The 49ers have only been in Miami for about 48 hours, but it’s clear Super Bowl Sunday can’t come soon enough for them.

Kyle Shanahan and his team spoke to the media Tuesday afternoon, and their message was pretty much all business.

Shanahan said all along that his plan was to install the 49ers’ gameplan to beat the Chiefs last week while in California, then allow this week for the media frenzy. Judging from Monday’s Super Bowl Opening Night at Marlins Park, that appears to be a wise approach.

There were a few new stories out of the 49ers’ players and coaches on Tuesday, but with five days left before the Super Bowl, it appears that’s where their focus lies.

As for the next several days, NFL commissioner Roger Goodell will hold his yearly Super Bowl press conference Wednesday afternoon in Miami.

The 49ers will continue their practices, largely at the University of Miami. They’ll have media availability on Wednesday and Thursday before Saturday’s trip to Hard Rock Stadium to have a walkthrough and get a feel for the location before Sunday’s game.

And during the hours when they aren’t practicing, the 49ers and Chiefs will be working hard to stay out of trouble in Miami. A week is a long time to lay low, but that’s what they’ll try to do.
