Looking for a fun way to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day? There are bunch of cool concerts and events happening in the Bay Area. Here’s a look at some of the top music, dance and comedy offerings:
St. Patrick’s Day Festival
It’s hard to imagine a better place to be on St. Patrick’s Day in the Bay Area then this mammoth celebration in Dublin. The two-day festival, set for March 16-17, features such acts as Tempest, Dublin Irish Jam Band, McGrath Irish Dancers, Avalon Rising and Lifted Spirits at the Dublin Civic Center. Admission is free.

The Black Brothers
Brothers Michael and Shay Black, of Ireland’s legendary Black Family, perform Dublin street songs, music hall tunes, historical ballads and other material on March 17 at the Freight & Salvage in Berkeley.

Shamrocks & Shenanigans
Come out to see comedian Chelsea Bearce and DJ Mike Deasy on March 15 at the Benicia City Clocktower in Benicia. There will also be an auction as well as food and drink.

Reggae on the Bay St. Patrick’s Day Cruise
Further proof that there is never a bad time to listen to reggae. So come boogie with DJ Veyn and DJ Slappy while cruising around the bay.

Saint Patrick’s Day in San Jose
There are two shows at the Historic Hoover Theater in San Jose on March 17. The matinee features Kyle Alden, Tim Hill and Steve Gardner, while the evening show has Michael Mullen’s Trio of One and Tempest. Also, the Santa Clara Valley Fiddlers Association will be performing a free concert of old-time, bluegrass and Celtic music in the courtyard from 5-7 p.m.

The Real Irish Comedy Fest
This Irish comedy showcase, featuring Maureen Langan, Katie Boyle and other talents, will be happening all around the Bay Area.
