Cupertino quarterback Jayden Hall is the Bay Area News Group’s boys high school athlete of the week after receiving 50.59% of the vote by the 5 p.m. Wednesday deadline.

Menlo-Atherton football standout Jalen Moss (27.92%) took second and Benicia football player Tyson Wallace (15.98%) was third.

Congratulations to all the candidates for this week’s recognition.

Hall threw for 262 yards and three touchdowns as Cupertino, playing at home, remained undefeated with a 26-21 victory over Fremont-Sunnyvale in Santa Clara Valley Athletic League El Camino Division play.
