Mt. Pleasant softball player Lluvia Limon is the Bay Area News Group’s girls high school athlete of the week for April 11-17 after she received 8,892 votes (26.68%) by the 5 p.m. deadline Wednesday.
Antioch softball player Aviana Camacho (7,433 votes, 22.30%) finished second and Santa Teresa softball player Kokoro Sagae (6,005 votes, 18.02%) took third.

Limon, a senior catcher, had hits in all nine at-bats in wins over Independence and Hill. She drove in 10 runs.
The Cardinals rallied from a 9-1 deficit to beat Hill 14-12.
Limon began this week with 37 RBIs and was hitting .757 for Blossom Valley Atheltic League West Valley Division-leading Mt. Pleasant.
