It’s hard to believe that Kylie Jenner, the ever self-promoting cosmetics mogul and reality TV star, has gone silent on social media.

It’s also hard to believe that W magazine has gone to the extraordinary lengths of pulling images and a glowing story about her and Travis Scott from its website, according to Page Six. The editors of the esteemed magazine also are scrambling to stop shipment of its new issue, which already had been printed with the once-hot celebrity couple on its cover, Page Six added.

Jenner, pregnant with her second child with Scott, is reportedly in a state of devastation and crisis that even her adept “momager” Kris Jenner can’t finesse her way out of, according to The Sun and other publications.

That’s since Nov. 5, when a crowd of 50,000 people got out of control at Scott’s performance at the Astroworld Festival in Houston. As Jenner, 24, watched and recorded video of the rapper’s show from a safe distance, hundreds of people were injured in the crush of bodies. Over the weekend, 9-year-old Ezra Blount, who had attended the concert with his father, succumbed to injuries to his brain and other organs, becoming the 10th fatality, ABC13.com reported.

The day after the concert, Jenner posted a message on Instagram Story. Then she went silent. In her message, she said that she and Scott, were “broken and devastated” by news of the deaths and injuries. She and Scott also have insisted that they didn’t know people had been hurt in the crowd until later in the night.

Scott, a Houston native, has been criticized for continuing to perform, even after police began responding to the emergency and an ambulance was seen trying to make its way through the crowd to tend to the victims.

News that high-end W magazine has tried to scrub all traces of the beleaguered couple from its site comes as police continue their investigation and Scott faces growing civil liability for the tragedy.

On Tuesday, Scott and a long list of other defendants, including Drake, Live Nation and Apple, were hit with a $750 million lawsuit filed on behalf of 125 Astroworld Festival victims, the New York Post and other outlets reported. The plaintiffs include the family of 21-year-old Axel Acosta Avila, who was killed. Drake performed with Scott at the festival, Apple streamed his concert on its platform, and Scott worked with Live Nation to organize the event.

“This concert was doomed from the beginning. It was doomed before they filed their operations plan,” said Tony Buzbee, one of the attorneys representing the plaintiffs. “There has to be responsibility, especially those entities that stood to profit.”

Jenner’s whereabouts this week are unknown. The Sun reported that she and their 3-year-old daughter, Stormi, initially hunkered down with Scott, whose real name is Jacques Bermon Webster, in his $14 million Houston mansion.

Jenner and Scott were “sobbing on the phone to their teams and trying to figure out what happened,” a source close to the pair told The Sun. Someone else told Fox News Digital: “Kylie has been devastated by the tragedy and has been doing everything she can to support Travis in all the emotions he is dealing with on a day-to-day basis.”

Last week, The Sun also reported that Jenner secretly left Houston, flying back to Los Angeles in the middle of the night. To avoid detection, Jenner didn’t use her own $72 million pink private plane, but chartered another jet.

“Kylie and her team waited until it was late and left the house in blacked out cars heading for the airport, they didn’t want anyone to see them,” a source told The Sun.

Jenner was hoping to reunite with Kris Jenner as the Kardashian-Jenner matriarch has been in “crisis mode,” trying to save her youngest daughter’s “crumbling” career, according to The Sun.

Jenner could be at risk losing her lucrative business partnerships because of the Astroworld tragedy. She’s also likely to lose millions of dollars for not being active on social media, where she regularly promotes her cosmetics and fashion brands, including her new Kylie Baby line of baby care products.

An “insider” told The Sun: “The longer her companies go without being active on social media or promotion, the more sales go down and the less they make from marketing. We’re talking potentially millions of dollars in losses.”

A source also told The Sun that Jenner wants to be cautious about how to move forward professionally in the wake of the tragedy, saying: “She feels a responsibility as a brand founder but she also knows the second they do post something business related, people will be upset she’s ‘moved on’ and doing self-promotion after this tragedy.”

A Fox News Digital source also insisted that Jenner isn’t just concerned about how the tragedy affects her bottom line.

“Kylie understands that the situation is much bigger than anything she could ever imagine — especially with so much loss of life — and she and Travis are just doing everything they can to be present for each other and all of those who are impacted by the events at Astroworld,” the source said.
