OAKLAND — A 24-year-old man was shot in West Oakland Monday night, authorities said.
Two homes and several parked vehicles were also hit by the gunfire but no other injuries were reported.
The shooting was reported at about 11:19 p.m. Monday in the 800 block of Filbert Street. Police found numerous shell casings on the street.
The wounded man was able to get his own transportation to a hospital where he was in stable condition Tuesday.
He was uncooperative with officers, authorities said.
Police have not determined a motive yet for the shooting but have not ruled out the possibility it was gang related. No arrests have been made.
