Join us as we take a sunset stroll past a marshy realm of salt ponds and wetlands. Alviso Marina County Park is situated along San Francisco Bay near the southern end of the Don Edwards San Francisco Bay National Wildlife Refuge.
The Santa Clara County park is a popular spot for bird-watching and hiking, and it has 9-mile network of boardwalks and levees.
Although currently on hold due to the coronavirus pandemic and shelter-in-place restrictions, Santa Clara County Parks offers free boat tours. Programs such as Salt Marsh Safari let visitors explore 30,000 acres of wetland wilderness with park staff.
