Craft beer fans, gourmet food lovers and theme park enthusiasts can all enjoy Red, White and Brews, the third annual celebration of food, beer, wine and fun at California’s Great America.

The 2019 edition of this popular tradition continues June 22-23 and June 29-30 at the theme park in Santa Clara. Besides the beer, grub and Great America’s regular attractions (like the Gold Striker and RailBlazer roller coasters), folks will also be able to enjoy live entertainment, outdoor games and activities and an exciting fireworks show each evening.

This year’s Red, White and Brews menu includes such tasty treats as glazed barbecue chicken lollipops over apple slaw, smoky brisket burnt ends over corn pudding, and smoked brisket and poblano mac and cheese.

On the dessert side, choose from bourbon-peach cream puffs, chocolate dream cake, petite pecan pie and more.

Each $30 food tasting ticket allows a person to try eight selections. Beer/wine tasting cards are $35 per person for six 6-ounce samples of Northern California wines and local beers, including 21st Amendment’s RailBlazer IPA, which is named for the park’s thrilling RailBlazer coaster. And the San Jose Brew Bike will be on site for those who “want to cruise through Great America while sipping and cycling (with a designated cyclist at the wheel, of course),” according to a news release.

The entertainment includes over-sized board games, dueling pianos and local bands performing rock/country music.
