Indigenous people from different tribes celebrate the 27th annual Indigenous Peoples Day Pow Wow and Indian market at Martin Luther King Jr. Civic Center Park in Berkeley on Saturday, Oct. 12, 2019. The free festival featured the traditional Grand Entry, intertribal dancing, contest dancing, round dancing, exhibition dancing, Native American foods, arts and crafts and the “Prettiest Shawl” contest in honor of Millie Ketcheshawno, a founder of Indigenous People Day.
