Bay Area fans will get the opportunity to wave farewell to Rock and Roll Hall of Famer Bob Seger, who has announced plans to bring his Roll Me Away: The Final Tour to Shoreline Amphitheatre at Mountain View on Sept. 26.
That’s fantastic news for the local contingent of Seger might fan base, which was understandably very worried that the great singer-songwriter might skip over the Bay Area with this last tour.
But those fears have now been alleviated with this latest bit of tour news.
Tickets for Bob Seger and the Silver Bullet Band go on sale to the general public at 10 a.m. June 7, www.livenation.com.
There is, however, a pre-sale for Bob Seger fan club members. For more information, visit BobSeger.com/bulletclub.
The multi-platinum-selling artist, known for such incredible classic rock songs as “Night Moves, “Travelin’ Man,” “Turn the Page,” “Like a Rock” and, best of all, “Hollywood Nights,” performed an excellent show at the Golden 1 Center in Sacramento in February.

Since kicking off the Roll Me Away tour in November, Seger has performed 48 sold-out shows in front of more than a half million fans.
