Glassdoor, a job and recruiting site based in Mill Valley, has announced that president and chief operating officer Christian Sutherland-Wong has been promoted to CEO.
Sutherland-Wong will replace co-founder Robert Hohman, who is stepping down but will remain chairman of the company. Both appointments will take effect on Jan. 6.
Sutherland-Wong started with the company in 2015, taking the role of vice president and general manager of monetization. He became the company’s first COO in 2018 and was named president earlier this year.

SolarCraft, a solar and clean energy provider based in Novato and Sonoma, has promoted Galen Torneby to CEO.
Torneby, who was hired earlier this year as chief operating officer, was recruited by outgoing CEO Ted Walsh. Walsh is staying on board as a partner and vice president.
Prior to joining SolarCraft, Torneby was the head of the solar department at DNV-GL, a worldwide engineering and technical advisory firm for renewable energy.

Stephanie Robinson has been hired as the active aging programs director at Whistlestop, a San Rafael-based nonprofit that works with older adults with disabilities. Prior to Whistlestop, Robinson was business manager at Marin Foot and Ankle and account manager at LifeMasters Supported SelfCare, among other positions.
