Forward Eric Paschall will play Monday’s game against the Timberwolves at Chase Center with a right knee injury, Warriors head coach Steve Kerr announced in a pre-game press conference. Paschall’s MRI came back clean and was not expected to be serious.
Glenn Robinson III, who started in Golden State’s 30 games so far this season, rolled his ankle in a team practice yesterday, will not play, Kerr added. With that, Ky Bowman and Alen Smailagic have been “activated,” for the game, though Kerr said he did not expect Smailagic to play.
“I wouldn’t count on him being in the rotation just because we’ve got all of our centers healthy, but if there’s a spot that I might put him in, you know, maybe a late quarter spot to put him in as a shooter, we could do that. Or if I just wanted to change the tempo of the game, if things weren’t going well, maybe I would make a move,” Kerr said. “Everybody’s always a possibility as long as they’re suited up, there’s a chance they could go in. Given that we have all the other big guys healthy, the plan is not to have him in the rotation.”
