Looking for a classic rock vacation?

Legendary acts the Eagles and Doobie Brothers are teaming up for “an exclusive luxury concert experience” Memorial Day weekend in — get this — Cabo San Lucas — with both bands performing right on the beach.

The Doobies will perform on May 23, as the San Jose band — featuring Tom Johnston, Michael McDonald, Pat Simmons and John McFee — continues its yearlong celebration of its 50th anniversary.

Then the Eagles — featuring Don Henley, Joe Walsh and Timothy B. Schmit, with Deacon Frey and Vince Gill — perform on May 24.

Of course, both bands also are playing the Bay Area. The Doobies perform Sept. 12 at Shoreline Amphitheatre at Mountain View. The Eagles take the stage, to perform the iconic “Hotel California” album in its entirety, on April 11-12 at Chase Center.

And we fully trust that those Bay Area dates will be fun. But it’s not Cabo.

Of course the Cabo concerts come with a pretty impressive price tag, with packages including tickets to both shows, hotel accommodations, local airport transfers, ground transportation to and from the concerts, food and beverage options.

And it’s guaranteed to be a (comparatively) intimate gathering, as organizers are limiting the concerts to 5,000 attendees.

Packages range from $1,599 to $21,999 per person.

Packages go on sale to the general public at 10 a.m. Dec. 20, caboenvivo.com.

There is a presale for American Express Card members, running 10 a.m. Dec. 9 to 10 p.m. Dec. 19.
