The Spice Girls are getting back together.

But, well, not all of them.

The phenomenally popular girl group is reuniting for the U.K. tour in 2019. But the band that takes the road will consist of Ginger Spice, Baby Spice, Sporty Spice and Scary Spice — but not Posh Spice (aka, Victoria Beckham).

Promoters apparently don’t think Beckham’s absence will hurt ticket sales all that much, given that these Posh-less Spice Girls are still being booked to play massive stadiums.

Scary Spice (aka, Melanie Brown) reportedly originally told James Corden in September that the Spice Girls would be reuniting – but probably not with Posh.

“We’re going to be going on tour,” Brown told Corden, according to Rolling Stone. “Us four for sure. We’ll see about [Posh], but us four are definitely going to be on tour. She might join us for a few [shows]. She better.”

And now we know that the U.K. is getting its Spice back. But what about North America?

You know what fans on this side of the pond want — what they really, really want? Well, I’ll tell you what we want — what we really, really want:

We want to see the band deliver a North American tour in 2019.

And it’s hard to imagine the Spice Girls limiting this reunion to just eight shows. So, we expect that the dream of a Spice Girls North American trek could happen.

And when it’s announced, expect to read about it here.

We just can’t wait to hear “Wannabe” — aka, one of the greatest dance-pop songs of all time — in concert again.
