Elections are being held Tuesday in Brentwood, Dublin, Piedmont and El Cerrito.

Brentwood voters are being asked to expand the city’s urban limit line. Piedmont Unified School District has two tax measures on the ballot. Measure G would extend a tax of $2,763 per parcel for eight years. Measure H would be an additional parcel tax of 25 cents per square foot for any building improvements made.

El Cerrito is seeking an extension of its parcel tax approved in 2000 at a rate of $58.46 per house lot. The Dublin election will fill a school board vacancy for Area 3 residents only, which covers the middle of Dublin from Dougherty to Fallon roads.

Polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Voters also can drop off mail-in ballots. In Alameda County, ballots for both races can be dropped off at ballot boxes at the Alameda County Administration Building (1221 Oak St.) and across the street at the Rene C. Davidson courthouse in Oakland.

For Dublin, voters can drop off ballots at Dublin City Hall and in Piedmont, a ballot box will be available at Highland Way and Mountain Avenue.

In Contra Costa County, voters can turn in their ballots at the Elections Office, located at 555 Escobar Street, Martinez from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. on election day.

For Brentwood, ballots can also be dropped off at city hall, 150 Park Way; for El Cerrito, ballots can also be dropped off at El Cerrito’s City Hall, 10890 San Pablo Ave.
