Here we go, barbecue fans. Last month, when we started this bracket-style barbecue contest, we didn’t realize how much you cared about Bay Area barbecue. But, here we are, more than 100,000 votes after we first posted your 32 nominations from Morgan Hill to Marin, and we’re down to your top two choices.

San Jose’s The Art of BBQ beat Sam’s Bar-B-Que with 66 percent of the votes, while Jon Jon’s, also of San Jose, bested Smoke Trap, by 59 percent. So it’s down to these two San Jose barbecue joints.
