Happy holidays, music fans. Here are our top concert picks of the week. Not surprisingly, all of them are Christmas/seasonal offerings.
Oakland Interfaith Gospel Choir Ensemble
Spending Christmas Eve with this award-winning gospel troupe is an annual tradition for some music fans.
And they’ll have the opportunity to do so again when the choir, which is under the direction of the one and only Terrance Kelly, returns for the 31st year to Slim’s in San Francisco for two shows on Dec. 24.

Dave Koz and Friends
The saxophonist brings his annual Christmas Tour to the San Jose Civic on Dec. 23. Accompanying Koz are guitarist-vocalist Jonathan Butler, singer-songwriter Melissa Manchester, saxophonist Michael Lington and singer-bassist Chris Walker.

Adam Shulman
The pianist, who many know for his work in Marcus Shelby’s Jazz Orchestra, pays tribute to the Bay Area’s own Vince Guaraldi and the composer’s beloved “A Charlie Brown Christmas” on Dec. 20 at SFJazz Center in San Francisco.

Windham Hill’s Winter Solstice
Celebrate the 35th anniversary of Windham Hill’s Winter’s Solstice album series this weekend in Berkeley, Saratoga and Napa. The concert features Windham Hill founder/Grammy-winning guitarist Will Ackerman, Grammy-nominated singer/fiddler/pianist Barbara Higbie, guitarist Todd Boston and cellist Mia Pixley.
