OAKLAND — A 19-year-old man riding in a vehicle Sunday evening was wounded by gunshots fired from someone in another vehicle, authorities said Monday.
He was in stable condition Monday. Two other men in the vehicle with the victim were not hurt.
The shooting was reported about 5 p.m. Sunday in the 6200 block of MacArthur Boulevard.
The three men were driving westbound on MacArthur when another vehicle pulled alongside them and someone in that vehicle began shooting at them, police said.
The 19-year-old man was the only one struck by the gunfire. The three were able to drive to a hospital where the victim was treated.
Police have not determined a motive yet for the shooting and have not made any arrests.
