Despite the lockdown on restaurants, Curry Up Now, the latest eatery that was set to open in San Ramon’s City Center Bishop Ranch, has found a way to give the Tri Valley its first taste of Tikka Masala Burritos.

Every weekday from 4:30 to 8:30 p.m., the Curry Up Now food truck will be parked at City Center Bishop Ranch between Starbucks and Tendergreens to serve East Bay fans their modern Indian street food eats via walk-up, third-party delivery or the Curry Up Now website. Yes, if you need a break from DoorDash or UberEats, you can simply drive over and order IRL, sit on the curb and stuff your face — observing social distancing rules, of course.

The truck is offering a limited menu that highlights Curry Up Now’s most popular dishes, including not only those burritos, but Deconstructed Samosa, Sexy Fries, Bowls and even heat-and-serve family meals from its location at 2678 Bishop Drive in San Ramon. Check the website for updates.

Want to help frontline workers? The restaurant is donating meals to help feed local healthcare workers and those impacted by COVID-19. Curry Up Now will match every donation meal-for-meal and deliver the meals bi-weekly to those in need. Find details at www.curryupnow.com/roll-it-forward.
