Remember when the Bay Area use to like Drake?
Yeah, that was back when he had better taste in clothes.
Those were the good old days, when Drake was sporting a Kevin Durant jersey during a concert at Oracle Arena in 2016, In fact, Durant even showed up onstage with Drake at the show. You can read more about it here, as well as see a nice slideshow of Drake in the No. 35 Warriors jersey.
But, since then, Drake’s fashion sense clearly isn’t what it once was. See below, but — warning — this photo of the Toronto Raptors super fan may prove disturbing to some parties dressed in blue and gold.
And after Game 1 of the NBA Finals, in which Toronto was victorious over Golden State, people in the Bay Area really aren’t happy with the multiplatinum-selling Raptor rapper, who trolled the Warriors, exchanged words with Draymond Green and, in general, was a pretty poor example of good sportsmanship.
He was even pulling stuff out of Stephen Curry’s hair.
Well, two can play at that game. (Not the hair-touching thing).
Before the Warriors even the series at one game a piece on Sunday (June 2), we thought the time was right to remember some of the artistic low points of Drake’s career.
Fun, right?
So, here’s a playlist of some of Drake’s songs. Let’s call it a Drake “slaylist” for Dub Nation.
To keep the list more manageable, we’ll stick to five songs.
“Mob Ties” — He actually uses the term “lovey dovey” in the lyrics.
“Fireworks” — Cliche much?
“Final Fantasy” — If this is fantasy, give me reality.
“Grammys” — Worse than when the Grammys gave the best new artist trophy to Milli Vanilli.
“In My Feelings” — Yuck! Sales for Pepto-Bismol go up whenever this dreadful love song is played.
