Country Summer, Northern California’s biggest annual country music festival, has been rescheduled for the fall due to the coronavirus pandemic.
The three-day festival, originally set for June 19-21, has been rescheduled to Oct. 23-25, 2020.
The location remains unchanged — Sonoma County Event Center at the Fairgrounds in Santa Rosa.
“Health and safety are our top priorities, and we’ve been monitoring the COVID-19 situation carefully. After consultation with county officials, the decision was made to reschedule,” Alan Jacoby, executive producer of Country Summer, said in a news release.
The festival’s originally announced lineup included headliners Kelsea Ballerini, Chris Young and Eric Church — one of the country genre’s most popular artists — as well as many other acts.
Much of the original lineup will remain intact, but there will be some changes, according to Jacoby. The updated lineup will be announced in the weeks ahead.
In all, “the festival will feature more than 20 performers on two stages, including 14 nationally known entertainers on the Chevy Silverado Stage and popular up-and-coming artists on the Redwood Credit Union Stage between main acts,” according to the news release.
All previously purchased three-day passes and single-day tickets, as well as Country Club memberships and upgraded parking, will be honored for the new dates.
“After the updated lineup has been announced,” Jacoby said, “ticket holders will be contacted to work through their options, including processing exchanges and refunds as requested.”
Once the updated lineup has been announced, Country Summer tickets will be put back on sale. Visit countrysummer.com, follow Country Summer on social media, email info@countrysummer.com or call 1-800-514-3849 for more information.
