Linda Hamilton and Arnold Schwarzenegger are reprising their Terminator roles in the film series’ latest sequel, “Terminator: Dark Fate.”
The trailer promises Linda Hamilton’s return as Sarah Connor will be every bit as action-packed as the franchise classic that this sequel continues the story from “Terminator 2: Judgment Day.” The new film picks up two decades after the events of the 1991 film and features series newcomers Mackenzie Davis, Natalia Reyes, Gabriel Luna and Diego Boneta.
The story follows Connor as she protects a young woman named Dani Ramos (played by Reyes), who is part Terminator from the new and improved Rev 9 liquid terminator (played by Luna). Along the way, the pair recruit Connor’s old T-800 terminator protector (played by Schwarzenegger) to help a new friendly Terminator named Grace (played by Davis) as she and Connor help Dani survive.
“Terminator: Dark Fate” was directed by Tim Miller (“Deadpool”) and produced by visionary filmmaker James Cameron and David Ellison.
