The return of Billy Idol highlights the week in live music in the Bay Area. Here are some of our top picks for the San Francisco, San Jose and Oakland areas:
Billy Idol
The man behind such classic New Wave/post-punk cuts as “Rebel Yell,” “Flesh for Fantasy,” “Eyes Without a Face,” “Dancing With Myself” and, of course, “White Wedding” is performing a two-night stand, March 7-8, at the Palace of Fine Arts in San Francisco.
This will be a very different Billy Idol experience than what fans are used to, as the iconic vocalist and his top-notch guitarist Steve Stevens will be unplugged for these two special evenings.
Billy Idol unplugged? Yeah, that’s something we’ve just got to see.
