'Hamilton' returns to Bay Area: Here's how to get tickets

Everybody knows “Hamilton” is a phenomenally hot ticket.

So, those interested in attending the play’s return engagement in San Francisco definitely shouldn’t wait to secure ducats.

Single tickets for the musical go on sale to the general public at 10 a.m. Oct. 22 at www.hamilton.shnsf.com. Tickets will be available for Feb. 12-Sept. 8 performances at the SHN Orpheum Theatre in San Francisco.

You can also buy tickets at SHN Orpheum Box Office on Oct. 22, beginning at 12 noon.

Tickets will not be available by phone.

Ticket limit is four tickets per account.

Ticket prices run $111-$686. Also, there will also some $10 tickets — 44 per performance — which will be distributed via lottery. Details on the lottery TBA.

“Hamilton” is the story of the American founding father Alexander Hamilton, as told in a rollicking mix of hip-hop, jazz, blues, Broadway music in a groundbreaking show created by Lin-Manuel Miranda. It had an extended, sold-out run in San Francisco in 2017.
