Laugh along with home-grown talent

You survived another grueling holiday. You deserve a few laughs. Here are a two options featuring Bay Area native comedians:

San Jose native and former Oakland Raiderette Anjelah Johnson-Reyes continues her December run at Tommy T’s in Pleasanton, but several of her shows are already sold out. You can still catch the comedian and former “MadTV” cast member, known for her “Nail Salon” viral video and vivid impression of a rude fast food restaurant employee, at the late show on Dec. 30, and both shows on New Year’s Eve. (Check with the club for any waiting list options for Dec. 28-29.). Details: $35-$85; 925-227-1800, www.tommyts.com/pleasanton.

If you miss her, Tommy T’s has some standout stand-ups scheduled for January, including comedy legend George Lopez and “Last Comic Standing” Rod Man.

In San Jose, San Francisco native Rob Schneider, of “Saturday Night Live” and “Deuce Bigalow” fame, will take the microphone at the Improv. Two shows are scheduled on each night, Dec. 28 and 29. Tickets, $30 at www.improv.com/sanjose.

Coming up in January at the Improv: Another “SNL” veteran, Chris Kattan.
