The tall ship Lady Washington, an official ambassador of Washington state, visits the waterfront at Jack London Square and offered ticketed Evening Sails, Adventure Sails, Battle Sails, and Vessel Tours open to the public. Lady Washington is a full-scale replica of the original ship of the same name, which was the first American vessel to make landfall on the West Coast of North America, Hong Kong, Japan, and Honolulu. King Kamehameha was a partner in the ship. It has also appeared in several motion pictures and television shows, including “Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl,” “Star Trek: Generations,” “Once Upon A Time,” and “Revolution.” The vessel sails to nearly 40 different ports each year between British Columbia and San Diego.
