Bryan Ferry, the amazingly influential and talented singer-songwriter best known for his work with Roxy Music, has announced dates for an North American solo tour.
And, thankfully, the tour includes a Bay Area date.
The star, who is set for a long-overdue induction into Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as a part of Roxy Music later this year, performs Aug. 31 at the Fox Theater in Oakland.

Ferry will be performing material from his solo catalog as well as from Roxy Music’s esteemed library, including from “Avalon” — aka, one of the greatest albums of all time.
