The latest storm brought plenty of rain to Northern California. It also churned up the waves hitting the coast, causing sightseers to hit the beach to check them out.

The Mavericks Challenge surf contest off Pillar Point was expected to be held this week, but organizers have put it off until January–the wave are just too big.
