The Warriors’ newest center DeMarcus Cousins is set to be introduced to the media for the first time at 11 a.m. PT. Be sure to refresh this page for running updates from our team of Warriors’ reporters.
First, it looks like Cousins will wear number 0 for Golden State. That number was previously held by current free agent Patrick McCaw.

Cousins’ presser is on the same court as a Warriors’ youth basketball clinic. Kids will be able to see the four-time all-star for the first time with a Warriors’ jersey.

Cousins detailed his Achilles rehab, saying that he’s “getting stronger every day” but didn’t give a timetable of when he’ll be back on the floor.

DeMarcus said he spoke to a number of players who have dealt with Achilles tears, including Kobe Bryant and Hall of Famer Dominique Wilkins.

Despite Steve Kerr saying he’ll start when healthy, Cousins said he’d be open to coming off the bench, if asked.

Who’s Boogie’s favorite player on the Warriors? Klay Thompson, of course. The two played in the 2014 FIBA World Championships and the 2016 Olympic team.
