The impact of the “atmospheric river” over the North Bay the past few days have lead to extreme scenes of flooding over rural and non-rural areas. The Russian River surged to just over 42.52 feet, more than 10 feet above flood stage and all roads leading to Guerneville are flooded.
Although the worst of the rains are over, runoff will continue to pour into major rivers, worsening the situation. Here is a sampling of some of the fallout.
