Hi, we’re small-but-mighty Jack and Luci! It’ll take us a while to warm up, but when we do you’ll be gifted by all our kisses and a lot of love, which you’ll get twice as much of as we’re a bonded pair. Please visit berkeleyhumane.org online or call 510-845-7735 to learn about the new, no-contact adoption process at the Berkeley-East Bay Humane Society (BEBHS).

Are you seeking a young, energetic, goofy companion? Meet me, Cinnamon! Give me playtime, love and fun enrichment toys, and I will give you lots of laughs. I have a good deal of energy and would likely be a bit too rowdy for most children. I’d do best in a home where I can be the center of attention and the only fur child. If you’re interested in adopting me, please email your completed application from eastbayspca.org/how-to-adopt to adoptions@eastbayspca.org at the East Bay SPCA-Oakland (EBSPCA).

Bonded pair Hershey, 7, and Mocha, 5, lost their home when their owner had to move into assisted living. Hershey is the leader and doer, the extrovert of the pair. Mocha is shy and frightened without Hershey. Splitting them up would be traumatic for Mocha, so we’re hoping for an adopter willing to take both. They are about 60 pounds, healthy, very sweet and friendly. Please call 510-337-8565 for more information, and visit alamedaanimalshelter.org to see all the great animals available at Friends of the Alameda Animal Shelter (FAAS).

Don and DeAnza are formerly feral kittens now tamed by a loving foster mom who adores them. She says DeAnza is a “sweetheart” and Don a “gentle spirit.” Don is a sweet, quiet boy that likes to come to you and ask for attention. DeAnza is a wonderful, loving, snuggly lap kitty that wants to sit on your lap and snuggle the day away. A quiet home is best for these teen siblings. To meet them, email Kay at kericksonttt@yahoo.com. Visit communityconcernforcats.org online to see more of the adoptable cats and kittens with Community Concern for Cats (CC4C).

Francis survived on the streets with a canine buddy until they were both rescued. When this shy but sweet favorite of our staff wags his tail, his whole body wiggles. He gives lots of kisses too. A video about his journey will be posted at The Dodo animal website (thedodo.com) in the coming weeks. Our dedicated staff at Milo Point Richmond, 220 S. Garrard Blvd. is on duty every day caring for our animals. Contact us for assistance from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. any day except Tuesdays. See more pets on our website at milofoundation.org. We’ve saved more than 35,000 lives in 25 years!

My name is Boots, and my game is play — play with dogs, play with cats, playing with my brother that thinks just because he’s all black he’s more handsome than I am (LOL). We’re both 9 weeks old, and our foster parent says we’re pretty darn nice boys. Call about me, they’ll tell you. Oh, I play with people too. For more information about me or any other adoptable pets with the Contra Costa SPCA (CCSPCA), call Pat at 925-323-0667.
