Donald Trump Jr. recently returned from his romantic jaunt to Paris and the French Riviera with Kimberly Guilfoyle, his new girlfriend and recently departed Fox News host.
In a break before Trump Jr. and Guilfoyle launch their efforts this week as the hot new couple of conservative politics, the Trump scion took some time off to be with his five children, whose mother is Trump Jr.’s estranged wife Vanessa Trump.
Trump Jr., who by all accounts is a devoted dad, posted a series of photos with his kids somewhere in the country — perhaps his rustic Catskills, New York, retreat — where he showed his children fishing, and the family together picking raspberries. And then, because he’s vice president for his father’s company, he used this family get-together to tout a Trump Organization product.
Apparently, employees at the Trump Store saw photos of Trump Jr.’s oldest daughter Kai, 11, with her new puppy Bella and decided to give her a present: a pink “heavy duty elite pet leash” with the name Trump emblazoned on it. Or that’s what Trump Jr. explained in a caption with his Instagram post, which shows several photos of Kai, brother Tristan, 6, dog Bella, and the leash.
Trump Jr. then directed his fans to the Trump store, where they, too, can purchase the leash for $25. It also comes in the colors “Pacific Blue” and “Athletic Gold” — but no “MAGA Red.”
Actually, this isn’t the first time Trump Jr. has promoted Trump Store products on his social media. In February, he posted a Valentine’s Day tweet, offering an idea for when “roses won’t cut it” and one wants to give a sweetheart something unique.
The 40-year-old’s idea for such a gift was a stuffed bear in a fluffy white hotel bathrobe — straddling a toy Trump jet. And, yes, as Trump Jr. pointed out, the bear can be purchased at the online Trump store for $30.

But this Valentine’s Day tweet has since taken on interesting significance since Vanessa Trump filed for divorce the next month. Did Trump Jr. intend for the gift to be for Vanessa — or was he already thinking in terms of someone else?
Vanessa filed for divorce the following month, but has since revealed that she and Trump Jr. were separated months before. Trump Jr. and Guilfoyle, 49, didn’t go public with their romance until May but maybe he had become smitten long before.
After all, they weren’t strangers to each other, with Guilfoyle known to be a friend of the Trump family and revealing in a Breitbart podcast interview earlier this month that she had known Trump Jr. for 10 years.
