- BookCrossing Zone: Open 24 hours, Aug. 27-Sept. 3. Hosted by Mobility Camp. Books of all sorts. Take a book or drop one off. All welcome. www.mobilitycamp.org

- Come Paint the Wall: 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Aug. 27-31. Hosted by Art Wall for All. Help paint a 24-foot long wall. Brushes and paint will be supplied. Eight individual canvases, which comprise the wall, will be randomly gifted to citizens of the community.
- Black Rock City Boardwalk: Open 24 hours a day, Aug. 27-Sept. 1. Hosted by Gypsy Nebula Village. - Black Rock Philharmonic Children’s Concert: 4:45-5:30 p.m. Hosted by Frozen Oasis. Come discover a closer interaction between children, music and the musicians. - Preservation Society Fifth Annual Pig Roast: 6-9 p.m. Hosted by Preservation Society. This roast of whole pigs on the Playa serves up trays of meat and troughs of merriment. Come as you are, but come with a plate.
