Oakland reached the mid 80s while in Walnut Creek were in high 80s.

The water running on the “Fountain Head ” by Bay Area artist Seyed Alavi, kept it refreshing as a driver put down the roof of her convertible in downtown Walnut Creek. Some people cool off along Lake Merritt in the late afternoon as they enjoyed another spectacular sunset in Oakland.

According to the Weather Channel temperatures will drop the rest of the week as the raining season could be over, too.
