Eight Frank Lloyd Wright buildings have been added to UNESCO’s list of World Heritage Sites. More than 1,000 sites are on the list, which spans 167 countries. The sites can be natural or man-made.
The World Heritage Committee cited Wright’s strong impact on modern architecture in Europe, as well as each building’s “innovative solutions to the needs for housing, worship, work or leisure.”
Not shown is the final building on the list, the Herbert and Katherine Jacobs House in Madison, Wisconsin.
