Get ready for another week of good live music in the Bay Area, highlighted by the return of Twenty One Pilots. Here are some top picks for the week:
Twenty One Pilots
The Ohio hip-hop/rock/pop duo, consisting of vocalist Tyler Joseph and drummer Josh Dun, returns to the Bay Area in support of its new studio album, “Trench,” which follows 2015’s multi-platinum smash “Blurryface.”
The Twenty One Pilots headline a show, also featuring Awolnation and Max Frost, on Nov. 11 at Oracle Arena in Oakland.

Van Morrison
The Rock and Roll Hall of Famer sets up shop for two nights, Nov. 14-15, at the Fox Theater in Oakland. It should be a great opportunity to hear Morrison croon through his mighty songbook, which includes such fan favorites as “Moondance” and “Gloria.”
Shana Morrison (Van’s daughter) is also on the bill.

Pusha T
Touring in support of one of the best hip-hop albums of the year — “Daytona” — the rapper performs Nov. 8 at the Fillmore in San Francisco. Phony Ppl is also on the bill.

Tank and the Bangas
The New Orleans funk-soul outfit, which was a big hit at this year’s BottleRock Napa Valley festival, performs Nov. 9 at the UC Theatre in Berkeley. Big Freedia and Naughty Professor are also on the bill.

Rufus Wainwright
The marvelous vocalist is celebrating the 20th anniversary of his self-titled debut, as well as the brilliant follow-up “Poses,” on this tour, which touches down Nov. 10 at the Masonic in San Francisco. Rachel Eckroth is also on the bill.
