Black Rock City is the home of massive annual Burning Man. It’s not a festival, per se, but a temporary city created almost entirely by its citizens each summer. This year’s Burning Man theme is Metamorphosis and it runs from Aug. 25 through Sept. 2.

SUNDAY, AUG. 25: 10 hot events on opening day

  1. Unofficial Playa Civil Unions: 6-10 p.m. Aug. 25-30, Camp Two Lanterns. Weddings for any being with all the trimmings, including rings, veils, top hats and an unofficial wedding certificate.  Make contact prior to the burn week. https://bit.ly/2Jy01Gi
