Want to be in “The Room Where It Happens”?
Your chances for that have just greatly increased.
Producers announced today that the San Francisco run of “Hamilton” has been extended for 17 more weeks. The fabulously popular musical is now set to run through (at least) Jan. 5, 2020, at the SHN Orpheum Theatre.
Tickets ($95-$403) for these added performances go on sale at 10 a.m. May 3 online at hamilton.shnsf.com, in person at the SHN Orpheum Box Office at 1192 Market St., or by phone at 888-746-1799. The maximum purchase limit is eight tickets per account for the engagement.
“It’s tempting to get tickets any way you can. There are many sites and people who are selling overpriced, and in some cases, fraudulent tickets,” producer Jeffrey Seller stated in a news release. “For the best seats, the best prices and to eliminate the risk of counterfeit tickets, all purchases for the San Francisco engagement should be made through hamilton.shnsf.com.”
