Curbside library services

To help bridge the digital divide during the COVID-19 pandemic, the Santa Clara County Library District has added wifi to the parking lots of it branch libraries, including Saratoga. In addition, the district has installed wifi on both its bookmobiles to provide internet access to patrons.

The free wifi will be available from library parking lots 24/7 for anyone to access the internet and the county library’s digital collection from the safety of their vehicles or outdoor spaces where they are able to social distance. A library card is not required to access the internet.

The district has also expanded curbside service availability at each of its libraries. Hours in Saratoga are Monday-Tuesday, 3-7 p.m., and Wednesday-Saturday, 1-5 p.m. Curbside appointments can be made up to 10 days in advance. County libraries also offer walkup service that does not require an appointment. For a full list of curbside services and hours, visit sccld.org/curbside.
