Unexpected hailstorms sent many Bay Area residents running for cover or a camera Sunday. Hail blanketed streets in Oakland and then later in San Jose. Some residents in San Jose even broke out their sleds. Lightning and thunder also delayed the start of the Cirque du Soleil Volta show in San Jose. Don’t expect the white stuff to last long though. Forecasts predict sunny and warm weather this week. Check out some of the sightings.
