The Rolling Stones are finally coming back to the Bay Area.

The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame act, which has been making music now for well over a half century, has set a May 18 concert date at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, the band and officials at the stadium announced Monday. In all, the Stones will bring its No Filter tour to 13 U.S. stadiums in 2019 (though more dates could be added).

Tickets go on sale to the general public 10 a.m. Nov. 30. Official fans can get early tickets Nov. 27 and American Express cardholders can buy tickets Nov. 28. More information is at rollingstones.com.

Ticket prices were not announced.

The tour marks the first time the Stones have rolled into the Bay Area in just over six years.

The band’s last local performances came in 2013, when they played the Oracle Arena in Oakland on May 5 and the SAP Center (then known as the HP Pavilion) on May 8.

News of this Santa Clara date will provide much — pardon the pun — satisfaction for local fans who were bummed that the Stones did not stop in the Bay Area when they last toured the U.S. in 2015 and 2016.

The group has spent parts of 2017 and 2018 in Europe with its No Filter Tour, which kicked off in Sept. 9, 2017 in Hamburg, Germany and continued through last July 8 in Warsaw, Poland. Along the way, the band reportedly performed in front of more than 1.5 million fans and the tour grossed well over $200 million.

Not bad for a band whose members are all in their 70s: Vocalist Mick Jagger is 75, guitarist Keith Richards is 74, drummer Charlie Watts is 77 and the baby of the band, guitarist Ronnie Wood, is 71.

And the age factor doesn’t seem to have diminished the musicians’ enthusiasm.

“It’s a thrill when we play stadiums in the States — the energy is always amazing!” Jagger said in a statement.

So far on No Filter tour, the band has worked plenty of classics into the setlist, reports say, including “Sympathy For The Devil,” “Paint It Black,” “Brown Sugar,”  and “Miss You.” Rolling Stone reported that the band has also been showcasing some deeper cuts, including “Play With Fire,” “Out of Control,” “Doo Doo Doo Doo Doo (Heartbreaker)” and “Neighbours.”

Here is the schedule for the U.S. wing of the tour, according to Rolling Stone:

April 20th, 2019 – Miami Gardens, FL @ Hard Rock Stadium
